The Pribilofs are located 700 air miles from Anchorage. The small communities are isolated, remote and the weather can be very harsh. The district services approximately 85 students in grades kindergarten through twelfth grade and enrollment is declining at both schools. No dogs are allowed on the Pribilof Islands. The district offers a very competitive salary and benefits package including health insurance and excellent teacher housing. Applicant should be adaptable, flexible and technology literate.
The Pribilof communities are very welcoming, involved, and supportive of the schools. Both schools have met AYP every year and we have great students. However, interested applicants are encouraged to thoroughly research the Pribilof Islands before applying.
Contact superintendent for more information and additional information can be obtained on the ATP Website.
